Can someone please help. I have a TON of NeoGeo files. They are in a zip format with .bin files inside the zip file. When I use the converter, the console window always tells me that "ERROR: Rom not found. (zip file name incorrect).

For example, Turfmasters is a zip called "turfmast.zip". Inside this zipfile are 9 .bin files. How do I create the .mvs file out of this to play on the dingo? I am using MVS v 1.3 English Modified converter.

What am I doing wrong? I don't get it.

Thanks in advance.

I figured it out.  Believe it or not, the 1.3 english mod converter was the problem.  When I tried the original dingoo converter, everything was converted perfectly.  Not sure what's up with the modded converter.

Try this: Put the ROMs and .exe in the same directory

 hi, I cannot get preisle2 rom working, I've tried downloading different roms and different converotrs, its got graphics errors. Can someone please upload a working mvs to rapidshare?

Yep I also found that the .zip files have to be in the same directory as the MVS1.3 directory but I still get error messages right at the end of the conversion process on some roms?

You can see the internal structure of the game ROM zipped inside the "MVSv1.3.dat," for example:
...
<game name="alpham2">
        <description>alpham2</description>
        <manufacturer></manufacturer>
        <rom name="alpham2-c1.bin" size="1048576" crc="8fba8ff3"/>
        <rom name="alpham2-c2.bin" size="1048576" crc="4dad2945"/>
        <rom name="alpham2-c3.bin" size="524288" crc="68c2994e"/>
        <rom name="alpham2-c4.bin" size="524288" crc="7d588349"/>
        <rom name="alpham2-m1.bin" size="131072" crc="28dfe2cd"/>
        <rom name="alpham2-p1.bin" size="524288" crc="5b266f47"/>
        <rom name="alpham2-p2.bin" size="131072" crc="eb9c1044"/>
        <rom name="alpham2-s1.bin" size="131072" crc="85ec9acf"/>
        <rom name="alpham2-v1.bin" size="1048576" crc="cd5db931"/>
        <rom name="alpham2-v2.bin" size="1048576" crc="63e9b574"/>
..    </game>

You must have exactly these *.bin files and those with CRC, and so will not show errors.

Best regards.

@jjae6 "Try this: Put the ROMs and .exe in the same directory"

Sorry but I gotta ask, how do we do that or what you mean by that?  Same folder?   The only thing that I converted before was videos(struggling). I'm trying to convert neogeo Roms for 2 days now and I'm starting to give up on dingoo, so far only CPS1 roms worked which was simply drag and drop for being all .zip files. I haven't even tried the ROMs for NES, GBA and others yet, if I can't even make neogeo roms to work, how on earth I'll do with the others?
